How can I improve my laptops performance?

Note: Make Sure Window has been updated.

1. Uninstall Unnecessary and unused application.

2. Delete Temp Prefetch and Disk Clean Up

3. Check Your Hard Drive have an Error or not.

4. Auto Start programs/Application How to Disable.

5.  Change the power option.

6. window update disabled.

Solutions:

Sol -1: Uninstall Unnecessary and unused application 

Uninstall unnecessary Programs

You have installed a lot of applications in your computer, you keep on installing them when needed,

You should know that as many applications as you need, keep the same number of applications and uninstall other applications. 

 v   Press Window +R type Appwiz.cpl

v   In Control panel Select application click on uninstall.

Sol -2:  Delete Temp Prefetch and Disk Clean Up  

Disk Cleanup

you can speed up system performance by freeing up your system memory; you can speed up system performance by deleting all cache files, temp files, recyclebin files, all other cache files in your system.

You can do a direct clean by right clicking on C: drive and going to properties you will get the option of Disk Clean; you can delete cache, temp files and other files here, which will greatly increase the performance of your system,

v   Delete Temp Files – Window +R then type Temp hit enter

v   Delete Prefetch files – Window +R then type Prefetch hit enter

v   Disk Clean up - Right click C:Drive go property click on Disk Clean 

Sol -3:  Check Your Hard Drive have an Error or not

In your Hard Drive have not error, it’s good

If have issue Need Run the Command line CHKDSK using Command tool,

v  Right Click on Drive go Property –tool and click on check

v  After Scanning showing for you Results – error and Successfully Scanned

Sol -4:  Auto Start programs/Application How to Disable  

Task Manager

Open Task Manager, click on Startup Programs, but all the applications will be shown, the applications that start at the time of computer startup, you have to disable them, first right click on application status Enable/Disable then showing option Enable and Disable.

v   Press Window + R type Taskmgr then hit enter

v   Click on Startup

Sol -5:  Change the Power Option

 To open the battery option, go to the control panel and open the battery option, then you will get all the settings of the battery, from this you can do all the settings, you can choose the setting to make your laptop fast,

v   Open Control panel-Hardware and Sound-Battery Option

v   Choose according to you – High Performance, Balance Recommended, Power saver

 

Sol -6:  Window Update Disabled  

Window update Disabled

 To disable window update option, you have to press window + r, type services.msc in it, then all services will open, you have to search window update option, right click on it to disable, then Your windows will stop updating.

v  Open services press the window + R type Services.msc and hit enter

v  Search window update and right click and select Disabled.
